About

To some, Reverend Cynthia Carter Perrilliat (pron. Purr-Elliott) has a career encompassing it all; healthcare leader, marketing professional, motivational speaker, and songwriter. Yet those who know her best know her ministry is singularly focused on uplifting humanity for God’s glory.

Presently, Cynthia brings together her diverse background as the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the AC Care Alliance, an innovative faith and health system grassroots initiative that supports residents and their caregivers managing advanced illness. As the inaugural Executive Director of the organization, Cynthia is the organization's visionary leader, responsible for the overall success of the program, which includes strategic direction, partnership development, curriculum oversight, and training of Community Care Navigators. Under Cynthia’s leadership, the program has served hundreds of Alameda County residents and gained the attention of healthcare professionals around the country.

Before this effort, Cynthia was Community Liason at VITAS Healthcare. At VITAS, she was responsible for launching an awareness and educational campaign targeting communities of physicians, clinics, seniors, health professionals, and community groups to enhance their awareness of hospice care.

She previously served as Manager of Business Development for the California Transplant Donor Network. There, her responsibility was to develop a multicultural team and train staff to educate and inform typically underserved communities about organ and tissue donation. The organization experienced a 30% increase in community donations with very little participation.

Cynthia is a much sought-after motivational speaker, trainer, and presenter for over 17 years, having worked with executives from Apple, Sun Microsystems, WebCor, Swinerton, Lawrence Livermore Labs, HumanGood, and many more. She works with companies to inspire their employees to create work-life balance, improve their sales and productivity, or more deeply embrace diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
